In the documentary " Spirt of the Salmon People: The Muckleshoot Story," KOMO Television partnered with the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe to tell their story of survival and perseverance and what they are doing now to ensure their culture stands the test of time. Today, thanks to forward thinking decision making and ancestral promises, the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe has reinvigorated its spirit honoring cultural practices and never forgetting the bond established long ago to their immortal relative of the sea - the salmon. Yet through wise leadership and unbreakable tenacity, they stood strong. This is a story flowing deep through Seattle's history of a people and a culture that endured tremendous hardship.
